Almost Time to Say Goodbye
Will you join the graduation party? I won't, so the last time I can see you is on Wednesday. I'm going to leave on July 18. When I go back to Japan, I'll eat ramen noodles with my family. The next day, I'll go to my part-time job, Mister Donut, to give souvenirs. I have a lot of plans after I go back to Japan. I'll meet my friends and go to pub or karaoke. Also, I can see my grandmother! I'm going to stay her house in one night.
From September, I'll go to Beijing to study Chinese, so I can meet some of you in Beijing!I'm really looking forward to going to Beijing. I've never been to China, so it'll be for the first time. If you can, please take me to somewhere!
I'm really glad to see you. Only for three months, but it was a lot of fun!!!
Thank you :)

Adopting to Calture?
I've been to Canada for one month and more. It's very comfortable to live here because all of the food is delicious, it's good weather, and people are so kind! I am often lost, but everyone helps me when I ask how to get to somewhere.
In the evening, my host mother always cooks dinner for me, and I like her dishes. Yesterday, it was very good weather, so we ate dinner outside. In Japan, we have no space to do like this, and we have no time, because I have a part-time job, Mister Donut, so I can't eat outside. I can feel very good when I eat outside, so I like it!
I've not experienced big culture shock yet, but I have one. There is no bathtub. Since I came here , I've not seen it except in the gym next to my house. Of course there is a shower here , but a shower only. I can't live without a bathtub in winter because of too cold, but now, it's not cold, so I don't have to use it.
I think I can adopt to culture, and I like Calgary, but I have to go back to Japan on July 18th. About one month left. I'd better brush up my English skill a soon as possible. I wanna speak English fluently.
Thank you :)

My Long Weekend
Hi, everyone.
How was your long weekend? Did you go to anywhere?
I stayed in Calgary, but I enjoyed my weekend. On Friday, I went to Chinook Centre with my friend. It was for the first time for me to go there. It was so big shopping mall! We ate Arby's for lunch. It was a big hamburger, so I was full. Of course it was good. My friend bought her headphones and some clothes, but I bought socks only.
After that, I went to Jone's apartment. He invited me for dinner. I ate hot pot with Chinese men. At first, it wasn't spicy, but suddenly, Jone put three chilies in the pot, so it became so spicy. There were a lot of ingredient, for example, beef, squid, fish, vegetable, tofu, and so on. It was s delicious! When I went back home, Jone and his co-worker took me to Sunnyside station on foot. Thanks to them, I could go back home! I had a really good time!
On Monday, I went to Kensington with my Japanese friends, but it was Victoria's Day, so most of the shops were close, therefor, we went to Chinook Centre. I went there twice that long weekend. During shopping, we tried to talk in only English. Sometimes, Sometimes we had trouble about understanding each other. But I had a good time!
Thank you :)
Success
What is success? This is difficult question for me, but I think this is success that the person is satisfied with something. It depends on people.
My one success in senior high school was won the doubles badminton match. Of course we had to practice a lot, but we should have believed each other. Without believing, we didn't win the game. This was difficult, but when we won, we were so happy! When we lost the game, it was bitterly disappointing to have lost the game. We believed each other, so we could have practiced a lot with joy.
Now, my goal is bushing up my English skill, but I don't know where the goal is. Anyway, I should get a good mark in the end of this semester.
Thank you :)

A Personal Connection to a Song
I'll talk about my favorite song, "Tomorrow." This song is used by the musical, "Annie." I go to the musical theater to watch it with my mother every year, so I've watched the musical 11 times. The main character is Annie, who is 11 years old and she lives in an orphanage. She is always positive and outgoing, so she makes us happy.
I like this lyrics, especially "You're always a day away." You means tomorrow. I like this phrase. This lyrics is always giving me a courage, so I always listen to this song when I feel sad. Annie also sings this song when she has a problem. One day, she escaped the orphanage to look for her parents, and she met some homeless. she talked with them and she made them happy with her thought and song. She is awesome.
Please listen to it with link. :)

Self Introduction
Hello. I'm Risa.
I'm from Osaka, Japan. Now I'm 19, and I'll be 20 this month, so I'm an university student, and I learn English and Chinese. I've been learning English since I was six years old, and I've been to Australia and Malaysia, but both were short trip. In Australia, I spoke to people who sat on the bench in the zoo or the beach and talked about Japan. It was so fun. When I went to Malaysia for school trip, I stayed there only 5days. Although it was fun, the atmosphere wasn't suited me, so staying in Malaysia was a little hard for me.
After this semester, I'm going to go to Beijing, China to learn Chinese for four months. I will go to North China university of technology. I'm really looking forward to visiting there, but Jone said to me that I must be lost there because I'm always lost in the university of Calgary. I have no sense of direction, and I can't see a map. It's so difficult for me.
I've not decided my dream yet, but I'd like to talk with a lot of people in the world! I like talking! And my hobbies are reading mystery novels, sleeping, taking a nap, painting my nails, and playing sport, especially basketball, badminton, table tennis, valley ball, and soccer. I'm not good at playing these sports, but I love playing sports!
Thank you :)
